Engagement Rings For Women

Most people, when planning on buying an engagement ring for women, choose a round brilliant cut diamond. However, most of them do not realize that many women prefer unique diamond cuts and not something that is in everyone’s hands. It is actually very difficult to find unique diamond engagement rings because most diamond cuts that are available in the market are popular among people.

There are a few diamond cuts that are rare and unique. The main reason for their rarity is that they are very special, and not because they are not popular. Most of these rare diamond cuts are sold exclusively to some diamond brands, which makes them very expensive.

Let’s take a look at some of the rarest diamond cuts that you can find in the market.

Royal Asscher Cut

The “Royal Asscher Cut” diamond cut is an updated version of Joseph Asscher’s original Asscher Diamond design from 1902. The Asscher diamond originally had 58 facets. It has a higher crown, more facets, and a smaller cross-section than a regular Asscher, but it’s still the same size. Due to the diamond’s perfect symmetry, it has a brighter radiance than other types of diamonds. It has a higher symmetry than a round diamond, and therefore a higher clarity.

Jubilee Cut

When used on larger diamonds, the Jubilee Cut enhances the radiance and brilliance of the stone by adding depth and dimension to the diamond. To commemorate the 50th anniversary of Queen Victoria’s reign, this diamond was created in the early 20th century.

Eighty-Eight Cut

If you like to wear rings for good luck, the rare diamond cut “Eighty-Eight Cut” is the best choice for you. This ring was inspired by Asian superstitions about the number “8” bringing luck. The Eighty-Eight Cut uses an octagonal cutting style. “Finesse Diamonds” is the company that designed the 88-facet diamond.

Asprey

Gabi Tolkowsky, a world-renowned diamond cutter, developed the Asprey Cut. Unlike other diamond cuts, Asprey Cuts are entirely hand-made. This fancy diamond is a reimagining of the cushion cut that is more contemporary and brilliant in appearance. Its 61 facets are what give it such a brilliant ability to reflect light.

Lily Cut

This incredibly rare diamond cut has to be one of the sweetest and most adorable around. The diamond is shaped like a flower or a four-leafed clover. Lili Diamonds in Israel came up with the design for the cut in 2007. There are 65 flower-like facets on this rare diamond cut. It’s adjustable in two ways: as a round petal flower, or as a pointed petal flower.
